Amelie is so-o-o sick! She got really bad last night while we were buying a vaporizer at Walmart. She just got worse by the hour after that, and we started to get really worried. We decided it was time to bring our angel to the ER (at 11:30pm). We live close, and since she's just a babe, they got us in a room by 11:40. There we sat (with a TV, thankfully!) for a total of 3ish hours! During that time, the nurses put things in Amelie where things shouldn't go, and the doctor did his best to make us feel like bad parents because Amelie hasn't had her shots yet. It was a bad trip, but in the end, we found out that she has a bad viral cold (called RSV) that can't be treated, only watched. She is on the upswing, I think, because today she looks so much better. She is eating well and breathing ok, so we aren't worried.
And now we have a little hospital band to put in her memory book.
